For years the shriveled souls of the far right have urged us to look to Hungary to see the future. In this one thing they may turn out to be correct. Whether Magyar achieves his goals or not, whether the post-Orban era evolves into the stable, long-lasting democracy that earns the title of 4th Hungarian Republic, Hungarians have already proved some things that are critically important to the world; freedom is powerful, hard to contain, and has a tendency to win against the odds.
